It has 120 pages and over sixty illustrations ranging from sketches and early photographs to modern colour photography. Items include dialect stories and verse and an article on the origins of Golowan in Cornish (with an English translation).

Compiled and edited by Penzance OCS member Margaret Perry. The author of A Brief History of Mousehole and a companion book on Newlyn, she has contributed to three publications of the Penwith Local History Group and edited Growing Up With Boats, the autobiography of William Stevenson of Newlyn.
